Welcome to onibaku's Great Teacher Onizuka page.

Onizuka, a 22 year old graduate student of some fifth rated university. The leader of the karate club, and also the head hancho of the motorcycle bike gang. His occupation... a construction worker getting paid minimum wage. What kind of a bleak future will hold this man? Well, why not become the teacher of the most prestigious school in Japan? GTO starts off with Onizuka depressed as hell. Spending his precious hours staring up the stairs looking at some chick's skirts. Suddenly, out of the blue, Onizuka meets up with the most cutest girl his ever seen. A high school girl at that! Well, what a day for him, right? Not! The girl sucks him into taking her out in a date. Due to this, Onizuka ends up lying about everything dealing with his life. From his occupation as some famous writer, to the fact that he owns a porche. However "great" and "impressive" impression Onizuka made on the girl, he never would've expected the turn of events. As things seemed like it was going well, the girl jumps off the building of a Karaoke room, to her former lover... some 50 year old ojisan! Onizuka was traumatized at this turn of event. When all was good, when everything seemed like it was going his way, the girl ditches him for some old pervert. Well, it probably was a good thing, because this event finally got Onizuka up in gears to become a teacher. And not just ANY teacher... but the Great Teacher Onizuka.

GTO IS COMING BACK!!!!
According to Weekly Shonen Magazine, Fujisawa Tohru will start a new series of manga "Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO)" from issue 28. The title is "GTO Shonan 14 Days" and the story takes place in Shonan bay area.
Every GTO fan around the world is pretty exicted about it, we were waiting for this news from ages!!! HELL YEAH!

New Life guys!! Finally we moved and now we're finally able to post new contents... after three years. I added about 85 new screenshots from the GTO Drama Movie. The Drama Movie takes place in a whole new school. The movie takes place shortly after the drama series events, and blasts off in a whole new adventure. Make sure to checkout some of the new faces and whatnot under the picture gallery section!

To the GTO fans whose visited this site... I really apologize for my ignorance. Over the summer I was on a trip to Korea... cameback had to complete my college applications, move in, and setup my dorm. First two weeks was hell here, but I'm finally back on track. Thanks to Angie for pointing me to my mailbox, and which there I found FANART contributions from Lara. THEREFORE, finally a minorupdate, I have posted up Lara's fanart stuff. In addition, thanks to Branchan for putting up his review for GTO. To read go to the forums, or go under REVIEWS to check it out. Don't worry folks, after this coming Thursday (Turning in my research paper...) I'll work on lots of new stuff to update. Anyway thanks again guys (i mean it!)

Sorry for the *much* delayed update... I've been kinda loaded with work. Anyways, I added Drama Episode 4 screenshots (81), Episode 5 (41), and Episode 6 (104). Totaling about 226 screenshots. I have also finished watching the GTO Movie, so I'll try to get those screenshots + summaries up as soon as possible.

Added 65 new GTO Drama screenshots for episode 3. These are of higher quality, and it is much clearer. So you'll enjoy them a lot more. Anyhow, Im sorry for the delayed update, been pretty busy. I want to update more on the anime/manga parts of this site, but as of now, I want to finish the gto drama first (since I'm currently watching it). I'm also working on a new layout for this site, since I didn't really put much time on the graphics/layout for this one. It'll probably be up by next week or two.

77 NEW GTO Drama screenshots for episode 2 was added under the picture gallery. Another small update was also done under fanstuff. Since nobody was submitting fanarts... I created a photoshop section under fanstuff. The photoshop section will include gto/other anime edited pictures done under photoshop. I worked on a picture called "words of wisdom". Go check it out.

The picture gallery is once again updated. The Manga Covers for 1-25 (with 2, 15, and a few others missing) korean version is now available. Go check it out, looks pretty nifty. I'll try and get/upload the english, japanese, and the malayasian manga covers up and ready for your download. Also, I updated Kanzaki Urumi's profile from due to a complaint saying it contained *too* much spoilers for the new GTO audiences. Well, enjoy!

Well, the site layout is complete. I just gotta complete all the sub sections... Also, the GTO forums are now up and running. Although there's not many registered users... YET. I haven't advertised the site or anything... but I will, soon as I finish the site. Many thanks to Angie and Nails for helping me on setting up the phpBB2 stuff. (I had a helluva time trying to figure it out...). Anyways, keep checking back folks, lots of updates will be posted.
