Yeah, I've seen "Beatiful Life" and "KyoKyoKyoshin 2003", Both of them are very good. Cool

i am watching beach boys now, its really good, the girls there are pretty cute, just that the series is already 9-10 yrs old, so now that i google the girls out i find that they are in their 30s , in other words, not hot anymore.

I don't mind a bit of J-dorama, though all I have seen is "kimi wa petto", which is quite reasonable in a light-hearted kind of way. The main actress is Koyuki, who starred in The Last Samurai.

I've seen a couple. My favorite (behind GTO, of course) is Densha Otoko, which I found to be a lot of fun. Smile

Kimi wa petto was funny and enlightening. My absolute favourite is the classic "Long Vacation", which btw Onizuka mentions in the drama when trying to pick up Chikako over the phone by passing himself off as a scriptwriter.
Other dramas I enjoyed or sat through include
Hana Yori Dango (great score, but so stereotypical it hurts)
Kurosagi (great score and actors)
My Boss my Hero (absolutely hillarious)
First Kiss (which is poignantly entertaining if you're a 15 year old girl)

Thinks for the welcome, sensei!

It was as short series, 13 episodes. Each episode was an hour long though, so you get alot of story time ^_^

ya most J-dramas go for 10-15 episodes.
They arent short cause they timespan is close to the 30-35 episode animes,
since their duration is 3 times bigger
