Yeah, that's actually one of the reasons why they started phasing out that format, and started printing the deluxe edition I think.

For some reason they used that type of printing format when they did Vols 1 and 2, and then when 3 came around they changed to more standard style which most manga tankobon follow. I don't really know why.

I guess it looks kind of ugly, but oh well, it's the content that matters Wink
