Wow a fellow Initial D fan!
Now for something in which my passion has never waned over the years. I'm a big Shirow Masamune fan, I love everything about the Ghost in the Shell and Appleseed universe. I pre-ordered the Appleseed Ex Machina dvd when it was released in 2007. Upon viewing it, one song on the soundtrack caught my attention, it was right at the end and it was the perfect song to end the perfect movie. Other than listening to it a few times, like an idiot, I forgot about it, thinking I'd probably run into this artist later on. Unfortunately all the songs on Appleseed Ex Machina were by Jpop artists and unless you were heavily into Jpop the chances of hearing music by the same Jpop artist again were non existent. So to finally follow up on a song I fell in love with 3 years ago here is Lina Ohta singing PUZZLE-RIDDLE...

| Yeah, I like Shirow Masamune's work too. Especially Ghost in the Shell, it was one of the first anime I really got into. Appleseed was good too, though I didn't really like Appleseed Ex. |

| Mamoru Oshii and Shinji Aramaki were two of the best directors to ever make an anime. Mamoru Oshii with Ghost in the Shell and Shinji Aramaki with Appleseed. So you have a group of animes that can't be more highly recommended, all based on the work of the same talented artist, Shirow Masamune. Making Ghost in the Shell and Appleseed the sure fire gateway drug to anime and manga. |
